Twentyfour members of the Freundschaftskreis Tonbridge und Malling came to Tonbridge for a packed weekend. On the Saturday, they traveled up to London to visit Westminster for a tour of the Houses of Parliament. In the afternoon they went to see the long-running whodunnit The Mousetrap.
On Sunday morning, Walk Tonbridge led a walk around Haysden, including the Friendship Wood (planted after the storm of 1987 with trees donated by Heusenstamm). This was followed by lunch at restaurant Ela Bella in the High Street, a tour of the Castle and further refreshments at the Old Fire Station.
